On October 17, 2018, United States President J. Donald Trump appointed Dallas Carlson as the US Marshal for the District of North Dakota. Marshal Carlson was sworn into office by the Honorable Daniel L. Hovland, Chief Judge for the District of North Dakota. The Honorable Michael D. Black was nominated by President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., confirmed by the United States Senate, and appointed on January 3, 2023, to serve as the United States Marshal (USM) for the Southern District of Ohio.

In March 2003, Peter J. Elliott was appointed by President George W. Bush as United States Marshal for the Northern District of Ohio after being unanimously confirmed by the Senate. He was subsequently retained by President Barack Obama in 2009 and by President Donald J. Trump in 2017. Marshal Elliott is the longest serving United States Marshal in the history of Ohio.

Pete Cajigal was designated to serve as the Acting United States Marshal for the District of Oregon by Attorney General Merrick Garland on September 23, 2021.

Eric S. Gartner serves as the 51st United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on May 23, 2018, and sworn in on June 12, 2019. Marshal Gartner leads and directs the U.S. Marshal Service mission encompassing the nine southeastern counties in Pennsylvania, including the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Philip R. Lewis III was designated to serve as the Acting United States Marshal for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Following the retirement of United States Marshal William Pugh on December 31, 2024, Lewis assumed the role of Acting United States Marshal on January 9, 2026.

Wing Chau was nominated by President Donald J. Trump to serve as the 33rd United States Marshal for the District of Rhode Island. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on April 11, 2019 and was sworn in by Chief Judge William Smith for the United States District Court of Rhode Island on May 13, 2019.

The Honorable Chrissie C. Latimore was nominated by President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., confirmed by the United States Senate, and appointed on December 9, 2022, to serve as the United States Marshal (USM) for the District of South Carolina.
